"Don't Won't Define You"
TEXT: 2 Corinthians 3
TRUTHS:
1. Jesus teaches believers that the path to a joyful life includes making your life about others. A sure way to be unhappy is to make your life about self--only considering what you want and how you feel.
2. As decisions are being made, believers should strive to make them based on the good of others.
3. The Ten Commandments were not given to God's children as a means of obtaining righteousness. In giving commandments to humanity, the Lord is seeking to make us aware of our transgressions and reveal our need for a Savior who will cover and impart righteousness to us.
4. Believers behold the glory of the Lord when they live their lives for the glory of God and the good of others.

1. Why is obedience to God's commandments unable to provide the justification and righteousness we need in order to be in right relationship with God?
